In the absence of a September Board of Directors  Meeting, the following bullet points are past agenda items for the Board's review when it meets next on October 29, 5:15 p.m., at the Inn.

ü      Seek replacements for the following vacancy notifications announced with regrets due to time constraints:

-          Centennial Committee Chair,

-          Newsletter Editor.

ü      Establishing criteria for membership.  Suggestions include:

-          anticipated attendance rate,

-          a Williamstown identity, either residential or professional.

ü      Review Club's  cumulative attendance record as reported to the District Secretary:

-  July, 35%;   August, 41%;   September, 39%.

The BoD agenda will include all Members' suggestions.  If you would send them to me

via e-mail, I will be pleased to list them.  All Club members are encouraged to attend.

Correspondences:

·         Williamstown Rotary has received a letter of thanks from the Sudan Relief Task Force at the First Congregational Church.  Its letter from the fund's co-chair will be available for reading at the Club's October 19 meeting.

·         Pedals for Progress is requesting Member donations to enable shipment of bikes collected to date.  The 2004 spring bike collection enjoyed a 19% increase over last year, thus increasing distribution costs.

Respectfully Submitted by KC Manuel, Secretary, 2004- 2005.
