DECEMBER 2004 BULLETIN

Rotary Club of Williamstown   ~~   Number 6549   ~~   District 7890

Congratulations to PP Fred, CDE-Thanksgiving Program Chair, for a memorable evening and to P Danielle for sharing the history of Thanksgiving with our International Guests.  Linda later traveled to the District Recognition Foundation Dinner with CDE student Wahidullah Waissi, a Deputy Director of the Central State Bank of Afghanistan, who attended as DG Dick Seidman's personal guest.  By her account, it was an extraordinary evening.

Sadly we note that Knut B. Neset, a 30-year Rotarian from the Stokke, Norway Club and a frequent visitor in the past, died this past November in Tønsburg, his hometown.

Thank you, PP Bob for scheduling November 23 and 30 Speakers: Margie, informing on senior health matters; Steve Lawson, entertaining with stories of WFF, its successful seven-year growth and future direction.

Rotarian Notes: This month's Rotarian Magazine, captions 'Celebrating 100 Years of Service' beneath which appears the title, "Going Digital", its cover article.  Referencing page 26, it seems that PP Hank has become a techno-statistic, such that: of the 92.7% Rotarians owning  a personal computer, PP Hank proudly and persistently ranks with the bottom  07.3% who adamantly do not.

Respectfully Submitted. - KC, V.P./ Secretary 2004-2005.
